Uniworld River Cruises have announced that they will be sailing through South America for the first time next year.
There are two itineraries aboard the Aria Amazon which is set to debut next September.
Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld, says:
“We’re beyond thrilled to launch these extraordinary trips in South America, a completely new destination for us.
“We’ve seen great success with our exotic cruises and know these Peruvian Amazon itineraries have the perfect combination of luxury, active adventure, and comfort that our guests appreciate.
“Between the four new Super Ships we’re introducing and now a brand-new destination, we’re anticipating that 2020 will be one of our most exciting years yet and that these next-level experiences will continue to elevate the overall Uniworld experience for our guests.”
As mentioned, Uniworld are offering two new itineraries which take guests down the beauty of the Amazon river. These include, the 15-day Peruvian Amazon & Machu Picchu Exploration. Moreover, the trip starts with a stop in Lima at a 5-star hotel. Thereafter, guests will enjoy a seven night cruise through the famous Amazon rainforest.
The second plan is an eleven day trip. Including a Peruvian Rivers & Rainforest Discovery, this involves a round trip from Iquitos, Lima, Pacaya Samiria National Reserve and finally, the Amazon river.
Aboard the cruises will be native born guides who will inform the guests of their surroundings throughout.
The Aria Amazon ship is a sixteen suite ship which boasts many fantastic features. For instance, a Jacuzzi, indoor lounge and bar, a five star restaurant and an outside area to capture the environment.
The itineraries will go live on the 16th of December 2020 in their entirety.
Prices will start at £11,799 including return flights and the first trip will depart on the 23rd of September next year.
