Work has started on a £1.4m repair program at the Apex City Quay Hotel and Spa in Dundee.

Over the coming months the lodging’s open spaces – including the gathering and meeting regions, Metro Bar and Brasserie and Yu Spa – will be changed.

The venture comes short of what one year after the finishing of a £2.4m room restoration, which saw every one of the 151 rooms and suites at the inn made over.

The full program of upgrades is set to be finished in the new year, with the lodging working the same old thing all through the period.

Ronnie MacKay, general supervisor at Apex City Quay Hotel and Spa, stated: “We’re completely excited to see work beginning the most recent round of restoration work at the inn. The input from visitors following the room renovation has been incredibly positive and, given that the plans set up for the open regions look totally awesome, we’re certain our visitors will be intrigued with the completed outcome.”

Since late 2017, Apex Hotels has put roughly £12m in repair works over its 10 UK Hotels.
